The Future of Flying

Innovation in Aviation with British Airways & Boeing

Introducing Non-Stop Service from AUS to LHR

For decades, British Airways and Boeing have been shaping the future of flying, combining customer insights with breakthrough technology, to develop travel experiences that break the mould. Join Glenn Morgan, Head of Service Transformation at British Airways, and David Longridge, Sales Director at Boeing, to hear about the journey that will bring the British Airways Boeing 787 into Austin for the first time on March 3rd. Dr. John Butler, Director of the Herb Kelleher Center for Entrepreneurship at McCombs School of Business, will serve as the moderator for the discussion. The fireside chat will include an exploration of the engineering marvel that is the 787 Dreamliner and how British Airways is layering product and service innovation at every point of the customer journey. Glenn and David will also touch on the future of the industry and how both companies are fostering a culture of collaborative innovation, where the sky is not the limit. Our Associate Dean of Graduate Programs, Dr. Eric Hirst will open the event, and the final 15 minutes of the talk will be reserved for audience Q&A. The session will take place at the AT&T Conference Center’s Amphitheater (Room 204). Don't forget to RSVP.
